The atmosphere is a nice "wood cabin" vibe. The pool is a nice little spot with a sauna, very clean. Everyone was in a cheerful mood. The Dreamcatcher restaurant has great burgers at a value price. It's a plus to order drinks and be able to take up to your room. Will definitely be returning!

This is one of the nicer Kewadin casinos and the hotel is better than most. The restaurant unfortunately has been downgraded to a buffet only and you cannot get table service for lunch or dinner any longer. The only thing that can make the casino better would be a non-smoking rule. For those who are allergic to smoke I would recommend the Hollywood Casino in Toledo Ohio. The entire building is non-smoking :-)

While the room was great, some of the people weren't the friendliest.  They're also very inconsistent with pricing, we paid half what others we were there with, we had a 2 room suite, small kitchenette, they had a small room with no microwave. 

The next year, one person was given a great deal to book for next years event, overhearing it others booked, no deal, they were rude when asked about it. I'll be staying elsewhere next year.

I do have to say the valet service was great. Very friendly helpful, loaded our car, although took a long time, it was busy. 

Make sure to get a cart early for bags, people waited in line, to get them as others unloaded, they didn't have enough.

Stayed here while my husband was in town for a tournament.  I was sick and the room was stiffling hot.  I called the front desk to ask for help cooling the room and they said there was nothing they could do.  No air, no fan, no temp control.  The front desk person was rude and offered no help or solutions.  The temp never dipped below 76 degrees. This place has apparently forgotten that there are a LOT of other casinos and hotels around Michigan.  The maid who assisted me the next day was stellar.  The whole one star goes to her.

I would say 4.5 stars. Walking in it looks like they went all out in extravagance. Everything was done big! I didn't explore as much as I wanted to, and stuck to the first floor as that's what my room was on. I couldn't find the fitness center or pool, but I did see it from the outside. Looked like you couldn't get to it from the first floor. Lots of smokers everywhere, paradise for them. The rooms could use an update. I had a whirlpool room, and while nice and cozy, it felt dated. Prices were amazing though! But it was early February so I'm sure they had plenty of empty rooms. I would stay again if I'm up north for the night and not camping!
