King Car Audio Installer LLC

I finally decided to upgrade the radio and speakers in my old car. I had a first meeting with King Car Audio to learn about options and cost. After that, I spent a lot of time thinking about it… how much money to spend, options. I checked with another reputable installer to see if the King Car price was out of line. It wasn’t. It’s funny. This was a big decision for me. Would I like the look of a new radio in my classic car? Were these the right people to do this job? This is a local, FAMILY business. They have been in business for many years. I like supporting a local business and appreciate that they are here in our community. So.. I went ahead. My car was gone for more than a day. My sense was that they did a lot of work. The result is really nice. I felt that the guys doing the work took personal pride in doing a good job. It was important to them, and they knew it was important to me. I’m very happy. Five stars!

Replacing the audio system on a 16 year old car isn't great for the owner or the installer tasked with it, but my experience with King Car Audio couldn't have been better. After months troubleshooting a bad internal amplifier and fiber-optics loop, I sucked it up and walked in on a Saturday just to discuss my options. Instead I ended up with a working system (with more modern features than the stock unit) installed within 2 hours. The price was right, the job was as promised, and everyone there absolutely earned these five stars.

I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews, it must be from friends and family. To start after the first trip to this place for a simple 4 speakers and a amp I drive off and a piece of my door panel falls off that they tried to hide by gluing it on instead of, oh I dont know, buying the piece that they broke. My radio antenna signal had become much worse and the speakers vibrated horribly. They claimed to fix it but time and time again proved that they had not. I brought it back 4 times to only give up on them. A few months later the entire left side of the speaker system they installed stopped working. I called to have them fix it as I had brought it to a different company first but the guy would not touch it due to (and I quote) "a terrible wire job" according to this other car audio place I went to. King Car decided they didn't want to call me back which was the straw that broke the camels back and why I am here reviewing this, I did give them a chance. Do yourself a huge favor and don't go here, its going to be a thing of the past soon anyways since a place like this is probably only good for 1990 acuras. I can say the owner was nice at first during this but his son who works the front desk is arrogant and would rather pass the blame on you, the customer. Did I mention the prices were insane as well? This will always be something I remember as buyers remorse, I was stupid to even go here from the start and I have now learned my lesson unfortunately after spending $1100+. I'm currently taking my car back to the manufacturer to get my stock speakers re-installed and selling the sound system that they put in it on ebay in hopes to recoup maybe a measly $100-$200.

Great place! I thoroughly recommend! Sam is always awesome. He helped me with my stereo a few months ago and he installed an automatic ignition start today. He is very smart and knows what he is doing. They are all SO nice there!!! Highly recommend!!
