The 9-1-1 Communications Section of the King County Sheriff's Office employes 88 people at this Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). In 2010, our center answered 566,347 calls, of which 348,846 were received on the 9-1-1 lines. Our PSAP serves over half a million citizens in unincorporated King County and 12 contract cities. We also provide communications services for the Muckleshoot Tribe, Metro Transit, Sound Transit and the King County International Airport.
