Let me first start by saying I have been going to Dr. Kirol's office for about 7 months now and I really like the office. I really like that Dr. Kirol is very personable and that his staff is friendly (with Jennifer being my fav hygienist). I am giving them a 3 star rating because of a recent issue that has taken place. I went in to get a crown on this past Monday. I let the hygienist that was assisting Dr. Kirol know that I wear retainers and asked how getting the crown on my tooth would affect that. She told me that it shouldn't effect me wearing my current retainer and that if it did to call the office to let them know and they would make me one. Well my bottom retainer did not fit when I tried to place them on the day after my procedure. I called the office to let them know on Wednesday and the hygienist told me that she would check to see if they have the materials to make the retainer and she would give me a call back. This call was made at 11:45 am and I never received a call back. I called the office this morning and spoke with Jennifer and she placed me on hold while she followed up on my issue. When she got back on the line, she informed me that they did not have the materials to make the retainer and that if my orthodontist is in the area that I should try reaching out to them to get another retainer. The problem with that is I will now have to pay $250 to get another retainer that will fit with the crown. I feel that the hygienist should have made sure they had the materials to make me another retainer prior to moving forward with my procedure. Otherwise I would have put off getting the crown done right now. So on top of me having to pay $412 out of pocket for the crown I have to now dish out another $250. This is very disappointing to me.

Horrendous experience during my extraction. I felt as though he was wrestling with some other worldly entity in my mouth; however, he did win the war and snatched that fiend out of my mouth! I really love this dentist!

I personally do not like to go to the dentist due to previous bad experiences so I try on my own to take care of my teeth and gums. I have to say that my experience here was very pleasant. The dental tech was very understanding of my fears and was thorough as well as gentle to ensure that I was not in total discomfort. I really felt like although that was my first visit, that I could have been there for years. Dr. Kirol interaction was also very pleasant and I ended my visit with no anxiety and definitely a reason to return. The only issue I had was that instead of billing directly through the insurance for their portion of the payment, they require full payment of service at the time of visit and for the patient to get reimbursed by the insurance company. I was not aware of this policy so they made an exception to file the claim for me and allow me to come back with the check to pay them. This can be a hardship on someone who does not have the ability to pay the cost of treatments and such (hence why we get insurance), but other than that I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends that maybe able to afford this option for great care.

Doug and his staff are great! Brenda and Dr. Kirol always makes you feel comfortable and make me look forward to coming to the dentist!

Love - Kirol Family Dentistry. Great practice. Everyone so welcoming. They make you feel like a friend. I felt comfortable and put at ease. They smooth your nerves. Would recommend Dr. Kirol and his staff to everyone. They for sure get a "5" star rating for excellence. Can't thank them enough for putting my faith back in dentist care. OH, and I love my hygienist!!!
