Had not been for awhile. Much improved. Sides were fresh. Meat spicy. Service good. Price reasonable.

One of my fave spots in East Lansing. The sushi lunch specials are very affordable. You get a lot of quality food and a good portion of it for the money. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If sushi isn't your thing, then definitely try the super fast lunch specials.

My work colleague and I decided to try them for lunch.  Knowing that they could be busy, we went at 11:30 to beat the rush.  We did.  There were maybe 5 or 6 tables when we arrived.

Before we were even sitting, the waiter asked what we wanted to drink.  He took our order and we figured out what we wanted and waited...and waited...and waited.  After over 20 minutes, he came back and by this time it is getting busier.  We place our order and ask for him to change our order to a to go order.  He briefly apologized and left.  We were served toppings or something prior to the meal.  We explained our order was changed to a to go order.   After the second attempt to bring the toppings, a women (possibly the owner) tells us, oh you're waiting on a to go order?  It's ready.

We went to the front where she proceeded to not say another word to us.  No eye contact nothing.  It's now 12:08.

We finally gave up knowing that we had to get something at a drive through and get back to work by 12:15.

Because the service sucked, I'll never try their food.  Huge disappointment.
