Let's start by saying that I will not go out of my way to write a review unless it is important. I need everyone to read this.
First off, I want to say, like many, I'm a regular here. My family visits every so often, and in the past, I've recommended people to come here because it's a nice spot. Or was, at this point.
Tipping shouldn't be a problem. If I receive good service, I will absolutely tip generously because they deserve it. If I don't like your attitude while you serve me, I won't leave a good tip. That should be obvious for anyone.  But never have I ever had a server chase me down and ask me for a tip in ANY other restaurant except right HERE. The story goes: I finish my meal with my family, and i pay the bill. Just as I was about to leave the table, a waitress comes and asks me for a tip. When I told her no because of obvious reasons, she got nasty with me and we almost got into an argument. I looked back at my check to see her name. Her name was Angela. Absolutely disgusting. How did she get a job in hospitality?
I've been here enough times to notice they change servers every so often. The last time I was here, I was served by this rather chubby and round young man with a nice hairstyle. Never seen him before. He was new he told me, and I think it was just last week when I met him. This young man was very well mannered, and I'm glad he served me this time instead of that Angela. Of course I left him a good tip.
So, the bottom line is, if you really want to come here, have one of the guys serve you. Otherwise, avoid this place. There are many other places you can go, like ToKai, Shogun, Mt. Fuji, and Ninja. These places are smaller, but their service is much better than here. Especially the female servers.

the sushi is really good here, but I give two less stars because the manager came over and caused a very awkward situation about a tip.  we were finishing up our meal when they brought the check over, I paid with a card and I intended to leave a cash tip before leaving, so naturally, I did not write anything in the "tip" on the receipt.  The manager came marching over with disdain wondering what the problem was with the service assuming that I was not leaving a tip.  Our party of 4 was all surprised as we were still sitting down.  To clarify, we DID leave a nice tip, but what the manager did was just plain awkward

Horrible. Steak was chewy and gross. Asked for a refund after taking one bite and the lady tells me she can only do a 5 dollar discount because i ordered it. I told her is she serious because i literally didnt eat it and she said then go somewhere else. I could barely understand her so i just paid so i could shut her up and leave. If you want a disrespectful staff, gross food, and dirty tables then come here. If not, then i suggest to go to a better place that actually cares about your experience and having you as a customer.

Great! Best sushi/habachi around. 2 for 20 will feed an army and the specialty sushi is great. I highly recommend the zombie roll!

I went there with 5 others. We were all very pleased with the location, ambience, prices,service and above all the food.
