I had a short stay in Santa Fe for business and wound up visiting La Choza twice! I ate at another notable establishment that came highly recommended, but it was nothing even close the the quality of La Choza! Service was great and the food was spectacular! Both the red and green chili were among the best I've had - and yes, they were both spicy! (The way it should be) Thank you La Choza for the finest meal I had in Santa Fe!

My favorite restaurant so far on my trip to Santa Fe. Green Chile stew was spicy and flavorful with a nice hint of smokiness. Potatoes and pork we're both perfectly done. I also had the blue corn burritos with beef and red sauce. Sauce was perfect with the ground beef filling with beans and hominy beside the smothered burritos.

A Santa Fe icon for sure. Reliable and yummy offerings. Nice selection of margaritas. The dining area near the bar can be a bit loud, so ask for a table in one of the other rooms if you want a quieter ambience. Expect to wait for a table!

Food and atmosphere were very good! However, our server was inattentive and rarely came to table to ask if we needed anything or to fill our drinks! Although he was polite,nice and well groomed! Be mindful that there will be difficulty navigating parking lot as they're doing construction on side of building. It's small and narrow. It was full so I parked on street and walked to restaurant. Overall experience was good. I'll return to use my gift certificate, at a later date, for dinner and margaritas.

Where the chili is hot! Authentic New Mexican food. That convoluted dramatic word; cuisine is for the birds! We speak good, great or excellent food! Don't miss it, it's worth the wait! Looks like they're expanding making the wait less! Thanks guys!
