L.A. Fitness isn't perfect, but if you're a swimmer, it's the cheapest way to get your work out in Lexington. 
I am a UK Alumnus, the swimming pool on campus wants $5 per visit, and the YMCA locations are all $45 per month or higher.
L.A. Fitness has a good, clean pool that is usually not busy for under $30 per month, and I can do plenty of other cardio and strength-training to my heart's content.

a good gym with all the equipment for any kind of workout from crossfit to powerlifting. the only downside is there is only 1 squat rack and if you go during the busy periods you might be waiting up to 20 minutes in line to get on the squat rack.

I called to find out if I could buy passes for the water aerobics classes and was transferred to a gentleman, and I use that term loosely.

He told me I could join for $30.00 a month or it's $15.00 a day for a pass. I explained to him that I already belong to a gym and that I just wanted to come to the water aerobics class.

He hung up on me. 

Needless to say I won't be joining or buying any passes.
