Love this place! Always have a great experience. Margaritas are fantastic, but don't plan on driving if you have 3! Ambiance is second to none and you don't feel like you're in the center of the city. Food isn't going to blow you away, but it's very good! Highly recommend for a romantic date or for out of towners!

The food is always excellent and plentiful.  I love their salsa.  The atmosphere is wonderful with brightly colored plants, flowers and fountains.  So relaxing.  We like to go for special times, but make reservations if you can.  It is ALWAYS busy but so worth it.

Very busy place. Good food & service all the times I've been there. Food is fresh & delicious, drinks are plentiful. Prices are high but I thinks it's well worth it. Don't bother emailing them for information, they won't respond. Call them directly for better service.

1st time visiting there. I am from out of state visiting friends in Killeen and we were site seeing in San Antonio. Search for local restaurant that had Chicken Mole. LA Fogata was listed and decided to try it.  The atmosphere and food was very good and reasonable price. I highly enjoyed everything.

Unfortunately, this is very, very average Mexican food at extremely high prices. I had the carnitas plate which consisted of a small portion of dry and under-seasoned meat served on a fajita plate with a side of cold rice and warm, flavorless beans. Edible, but for $20 in this town I expect better. This is San Antonio!!!!! It is so easy to find better carnitas for at least half the price in most Mexican restaurants in town. Even regular taco plates were >$15. Hard to understand the prices here, except that it is across the street from The Dominion. 

The decor inside also is very weird and not to my taste. Feels more like a nightclub with no natural light at all. There is also a giant TV right next to a bunch of tables, which just feels weird in a restaurant like this. The outside area is nicer. 

I can't think of any reason to return here and will certainly avoid it as much as I can. So many better options in SA. Don't see this place lasting long.
