Best fitness walking trail in the area, with short (1 mile) and long (2 mile) options. A beautiful nature trail through a small urban forest is also a bird sanctuary.

A great place for a shaded walk, lots of squirrel action, bring a bag of peanuts! A boardwalk meanders through the forest, and during May there are beautiful fireflies at night (before closing time) on the boardwalk trail! Multiple picnic benches under a tall canopy of shade trees. Stretching area. An interesting walk.

Absolutely the most serene place in metairie. Love meditating on the nature trail and seeing the bunnys too!

Great running track but not very well lit in certain areas at night. The calesthenics parks need some upkeep.
