Lake Aire is a nice rustic campground. They have a fishing pond on the premises. It is rural and spread out here, very quiet at night. The office folks are great. The only downside is, this is a low lying area and very prone to standing water/flooding if it rains much. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

Stayed here in April, on a tent only site, by the water.
Beautiful location, birds, fish, turtles, ducks
Great Park, well maintained, good facilities,
and very convenient to downtown.
Despite the number of long term occupants/residents
the park is quite, and clean
I will definitely stay there again
recommend boosting WiFi signal
(it doesn't reach out to the tent sites on the point)

Had reservations, but someone else was in the full hook-up and they parked me with a power pole. Because of the inconveniences, they said that night would be free. When I was looking at my card statement, they had added the one night charge back on. I am disputing these charges and plan to only pay cash from now on. It seems that once the CG has your card info, they can bill you from now on. Be diligent and check your statements if you choose to use plastic.

The place is beautiful and we'll maintained. Nice pool and play area. Very cool ponds for catch and release fishing. We have been here twice and will come back again. My only issue, if you are a tent camper you have to deal with the noise of a train every couple of hours. It is not next to the camp grounds but it is close enough to wake you if your a light sleeper

This is a good place to work from. Quiet and the park owners/mangers do an awesome job.. No issues with extending when the job goes longer than planned.. Bathrooms are clean, and well maintained.. Will stay here anytime I am working in Charleston
