Story

SkyPark at Santa's Village is an outdoor adventure park located at the iconic California theme park, Santa's Village, near Lake Arrowhead. Our main attraction in the warmer months is our world-class mountain biking trails through the forest and our zipline, where our guests soar over 30' above the forest floor for 600 exhilarating feet. Most of our attractions are people powered: pedal cars, roller and ice skating rink, climbing tower and bouldering walls, strider bikes, archery, hiking, fly-fishing, and mountain biking. We have shops with unique gifts, restaurants, a bakery, a candy and ice cream store, and a coffee shop. SkyPark is a safe and fun place where active families and friends can reconnect with each other and nature.
Over the holidays, from early November to early January, we transform the village into a Nostalgic Christmas in the Woods. It is an interactive theme park with Characters from the Northwoods and Santa and Mrs. Claus with their dog, Arrow. There is holiday-themed entertainment every day. You can have breakfast with Santa, a "dress-up" Tea with Mrs. Claus, and make crafts with Santa's elves. Ride the Polar Express! Talk with the Sugar Plum Princess! Decorate a gingerbread cookie! Feel the magic of Christmas again! It will make your spirit bright!
SkyPark at Santa's Village is located near Lake Arrowhead on the Rim of the World Highway. We are within 2 hours of most of Southern California.

After reading many reviews, I get the impression the lower reviews come from people who drove a distance to get to Santa's Village. We are one of them...we invest time AND money to experience the park; in our case two hours each way. First off...Santa's Village IS magical and it is the best place we've been to with our 6 and 2 year old to capture the Christmas spirit but my spirit was draining in the one hour wait for archery and then when it was our turn the girl running it only let my son shoot his arrows one time even though she told me he'd be given a second round of arrows (so it was over in 4 minutes and the people ahead of us had way longer). We missed the parade because of it too! Then when he did the bungee trampoline and he did a flip he was told that it wasn't allowed?? Not much of a return on investment in that corner of the park... Also...we got to the park at 3:00 and were told at admissions that the zip-line closes at 3:00. I just looked at the website to see if that is listed under "plan your trip" or evening tickets etc...and it isn't listed anywhere. We would have come earlier had the park been honest about that detail under evening passes. Speaking of honesty...I glanced at the receipt and saw my two year old was charged an entrance fee so we went back to admissions right before we were about to go home and we were told the park has a no refund policy and it's listed on the receipt and the only thing we can get is a gift card for the amount. So after I said "It was your mistake and therefore a refund is warranted and giving me a gift card only means I give you the money back so how is that a real refund?" Then the woman conceded and called the manager for "the code" to give a refund. There goes MY Christmas spirit! On the final note however...I asked my kids on the drive home what they thought of Santa's Village and they enthusiastically said they loved it. I would go back every year if the park was closer OR the tickets prices weren't so overpriced but I don't see either of those things happening. It was good to experience once though...

I primarily visit "the village" for mountain biking, however with the pass including all of the other activities this place is so affordable! They have plenty of beginner/intermediate terrain as well as technical challenges for the more daring individuals. Unlike many other bike parks the beginner trails are build so well that even pro riders can enjoy them, which also allows for beginners to get better much faster than they normally would. I have not even had the chance to take advantage of all of the other activities and I consider the price of the season pass to be an absolute steal! My girlfriend just grabbed a pass and we did some riding, grabbed a hot chocolate at Kringles, took a few laps on the ice rink, and finished in the bouldering room. Every time I leave I can't wait to go back!

This place is awesome! My mom and I bought it for the mountain bike park but realized that it includes everything else too. So after we go ride, we go ice skate or zip line and get a beer-which isn’t overpriced like I would thought they would be! The atmosphere is great and the staff is super friendly. Great place for everyone. I tell anyone who has kids to take them there!

I remember this place as a child. It's been along time but now it's even better than ever. I met friends today at The Gathering. Beautiful decorations, super friendly staff and authentic rustic style. I gave it a 4 rating because the turkey I had was dry and the veggies were cold but the dressing, potatoes and gravy were so delicious and the Apple crumb pie was yummy. I would definitely go there again anytime. Wonderful, magical atmosphere. For me it was a step back in time. Thank you Sky Park.

My kids absolutely love this place. There are so many things for them to do. Everyone was really nice but the guy that works at the rock climbing place is so awesome. I never met someone so kind. He had so much patience with all the kids. He deserves a bonus!
