We had a great visit here. No problems with us or our site whatsoever. And very few bugs - we really enjoyed our stay and will probably be back. However, other reviews are accurate to say you *must* follow the rules. A neighboring site (with campers who had been here a few times before) had visitors there past 7:30 p.m. The owner was belligerent and rude - giving zero leeway to the rules. Bottom line is that if you can handle the rules, I highly recommend this campground. If you plan on being loud after 9:30 p.m. or might try to bend the rule with guests or guests having pets, forget it and find someplace else. While many campgrounds have quiet times at 10 or even 11 at night, don't plan on that here. It's very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I can imagine a time when I'd want to have guests stay later and maybe sometimes we'd be louder than a whisper after 9:30 p.m. On the other hand, if all you're looking for is a quiet, peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, place to stay, (and you can follow all remaining rules), this is your 5 star campground.

This is a great park will run by Mike and Mary, very family oriented. Best kept up RV parked we have stayed in. Great Lake for swimming and fishing. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

What a gem in the woods this place is! Well kept up, very quiet and relaxing. Owners are great and very helpfull. We definitely will be back here again!

Straight out of the 1960's this was a fun place to camp at for the whole family. It was like stepping back in time to a bygone era.

I love visiting Lake Lenwood in the summers, it is a wonderful place to bring family and enjoy a day in the sun without dealing with overbearing crowds of people. It is nice and clean compared to many other places in Wisconsin, Lenwood is by far one of the best lakes to visit.
