Really cool place. Beautiful rock formation and miles and miles of desert and right in the very middle a lake. There are several nice places to swim that are right near the road. We swam at a boat launch suggested by a local fellow at a gas station and it was amazing. The water was very warm but still cooling because it was 104 degrees out. I was surprised that not more people were swimming

I have to say it was a great experience. Had fun kayaking. My one friend did eat to many edibles and tried to make out with the tour guide. I think she had intercourse with some strangers at the hot springs. Oh well, overall a great experience. Great place for families or the elderly.

Dotty's has definitely come a long way since opening this place just over a year ago. We took a late nite trip out there to eat and gamble and literally had a blast. Will end up making this place a weekly worthwhile trip. Where else can you play and get the x60 multipliers on your favorite games. It took 4 hours to rack up 200k points.

Beautiful Lake close to Hoover Dam. They have a nice marina where you can book boat tours and cruises. Everything was closed when we went but we got to walk the pier and feed the ducks (many) and fish that come right up to the top of the water to be fed. The ducks were also coming right up to us. There is a big visitor center and boat dock. Also passed a really nice campsite on the way down. Only issue was we wanted to be closer to the middle of the lake and could not find a way down by car. There were no normal toilets down by the marina, only porta potties. We had to drive back to the campground to use the toilets there and they had no soap :( the visitor center was a good 20 min drive from the marina.
