I've been eating there for over 40 years. The main area is pretty much unchanged but they've added additional seating and an outside area. It's definitely a local crowd with no-frills but the food is delicious. Their fish log and hot slaw are beyond compare. I live out of state now but always plan my visits to include a meal there. I hope they NEVER change.

The food is so good you have to try the hot slaw and the german rye bread is to die for. I was kind of put off with the looks at first but was very happy I decided to try the food. I orded the fried chicken my mom got the fish both was excellent was told I would have to wait extra time for the chicken but was worth the wait. The waitress got us some extra bread and it the food took about 15 min was very fresh.

Awesome seating outside by the lake, and we also fed the baby geese!! Good food and service as well!

Have been going to Lake Nina for years especially during Lent for their fish logs, fried potatoes & onions, and it was always good. This year, I was there tonite, and it just wasn't the same. The fish had a different taste. Don't know if the grease used to fry the fish, the breading used to coat the fish or the tarter sauce. Even the potatoes seemed different. I asked my nephew if he liked his and he even said it was not the same. Don't know if I'll go back again. Too bad as we always looked forward to the fish logs.
