Been boating here since I was 6 with my parents and also been tent camping here with friends just to kill weekends. Within the last few years this place has improved, there is always something going on each weekend dances, kid entertainment, water park, live bands etc. The restaurant at the resort has improved as well and I never had a bad meal that was worth bitching about. The camping sites are nice/clean IMO and aren't on top of each other in some spots. If you're looking for an overall adult/kid place to go for a weekend, should be good enough if you're a pretty simple person.

My wife and I ate at the Marina cafe for lunch and then boarded the Proud Mary for a fall foliage boat tour. We had their signature sandwich, the chicken boca. It was delicious. The boat tour was so relaxing and the scenery left us wanting more. The boat ride is an hour and half so there is not enough time to see the whole lake. We went up to mile marker 26 and turned around. During the voyage they played a informational recording about the lake. It was very informative and some interesting points. Price was very affordable and I would highly recommend to couples for a peaceful outing

The cabin by the lake was very nice. There was a full kitchen with utensils available. No toiletries were provided but was notified ahead of time. The beds were very firm with two very soft pillows.

Stayed here last year for the first time. We rented the cabin on pine road lake front. Plus we had four groups of friends rent the cabins around us. We all had a great time so we all are going back in two days to tent camp for labor day.

Very nice rooms with kitchenette, table, couch, double bed, and balcony. Awesome location with large marina and natural trails. Will come again!
