Welcome to Virginia and Lake Ridge RV Resort, formerly R-J Ranch Rv Resort. The Virginia cabin rentals and the campground are located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Hillsville, Virginia. The friendly, clean and active atmosphere will greet you and make your stay with us one of your most memorable camping experiences of the year.

Our Virginia RV Campground facilities include everything to make your stay a relaxed and pleasant experience, with daily and monthly rates available for your virginia camping or for cabin rentals.

Was the BEST family vacation I've ever had! We swam, played basket ball, put put, played horse shoes and played the arcade. My kids fished from day light to dark a few days. Staff were amazing! Such friendly kind people! To be honest.. I didn't want to leave after spending a week at this camp ground. Thank you all so much 💖

My family and I was here for 4 nights we stayed in a cabin which was nice for the most part. The floors are very dirty even after me cleaning them, and the rest of the cabin needs a good cleaning. The staff was friendly, the pool is nice but today the water slides was not open and the snak bar hasn't been open and I was told that it wasn't enough money coming in to keep in open right now. The park is nice for just a few days stay, there is a lot of little things that need improvement but that's anywhere you go. My family will be back again next summer.

Great little reasonably priced place for the kids. Water slides, miniature golf, snow cones, game room, paddle boats, music at night and fireworks.

You absolutely cannot blame the owners for bad weather. However the website and amenities are overly exaggerated. 1. The website shows numerous paddle boats in use. There was only ONE paddle boat that was locked up the entire time for the entire campground to use. 2. Nine golf balls to use for an entire campground to use is a little under par. It was closed the whole time we were there August 2-5. 3. Eighteen tubes (half under inflated or flat) for slides is quite a disappointment when there are 30 plus people waiting to slide in addition to the public. 4. If there is no lightening or thunder, the pools and slides should be open for the kids. When campers are there for several days without the pool, there's not much else to do. 5. When it's rained for 3-4 days straight non stop,a and everything is closed, the 6-8 staff members sitting around the tables half the day could certainly find activities for bored campers.Sorry, but this will be our last trip here.
