We're a family friendly campground located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come and see our many upgrades and improvements.

Story

Nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains, this KOA caters to the entire family (including pets). Breathe in the cool mountain air and relax in the peaceful atmosphere. Pets can exercise in the pet playground. You'll enjoy the swimming pool with a 50-foot waterslide, hiking trails, court games and a gift shop and general store. KOA's Family Fun Center and the AOK Kafé (site delivery available) are both open year-round. (Kafé is closed Sundays.) Enjoy the arcade, indoor batting cages, mini golf, pool tables and air hockey. (Game room open in winter, weather permitting.) Nearby, explore the Blue Ridge Parkway, orchards, wineries and antique malls. Go golfing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing or horseback riding. Please note: This campground accepts pets in Cabins / Cottages. Pets must be under 40 pounds. The pet fee is $10 per day, per pet. This KOA is open all year (winter weather permitting).

Awesome stop in the mountains on the way to Florida. Far enough from the highway to be nice a quiet, close to lots of restaurants and services.

This campground is fantastic! The check-in process was flawless, and very informative. there is so much for our family to do here, their RV sites are pet friendly and there's even a fenced in dog run! We loved fishing in the stocked pond, and were delighted to know we didn't need a fishing license because it's on private property. The place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful and the pizza is yummy (they even delivered it to our camper) We will definitely be back, and recommend this place to our friends and family!!

We stayed for 1 night in our rv. I so wish we could've stayed a few days. Lovely place, facilities , & hosts. Pizza delivery to your trailer, can't beat that. Has lots of pretty areas to walk & a dog park.

Looking at the not so good reviews had me write this review. Last summer my family and I had a terrible trip to Texas so on the way back from Texas we stopped here for the night. The grounds were so clean, arcade room clean, and more importanly so many things for the kids to do. We even had fresh eggs brought to us. This had me call my job and extend my leave for four more days. Great grounds and customer service was great for us. We are heading back late September for the long weekend.

I spoke to 3 separate employees... Kayla was fantastic..as well as the young man who helped us at check in. They were friendly, courteous and knew the answers to our questions...both of them made the check in experience great and painless... The third I believe was Miranda whom was super short with me on the phone and didn't have time for my questions. Pros: - super easy in and out site most of the sites inside are pull through which is great. - fishing pond, dog park, playground, pool were all free items for campers. - most sites are full hookups vs only electric and water - our pull through location was pretty darn level. - tons of shady places at the top of the campground Cons: - it's koa so it's pricy if you're not using all of the amenities. - no trees on 2/3 of the lot...so if you don't get the top it's going to be direct Sun. I thought the spots were reasonably level, clean, and all hookups were in good shape..
