Mid summer a friend and I were on a bike trip and chose this place to stay. It is an older building and there are things about it that are not up to current standard, but for us it was perfect. It is close enough we made a day trip to cruise through the badlands. While there a freak summer hailstorm hit. The lady running the place had staff open up their storage downstairs so we could put our bikes in there. The breakfast was not great, but most everyplace we stayed on this trip had that problem, chain or not so I can't count that against them. 
I'd stay here again. Fussy people might hate it.

Eeeks.  Strange place.  We were traveling for many hours before stopping here to get a few hours of rest and did not have many options.  This was a glorified "trailer park hotel".  Felt like I was in the twilight zone.  I will say it was clean.  Apart from that, don't expect much more than a bed and a sink to clean up in.  People were sitting outside their rooms all night drinking and partying in the pool area.

Good price, very warm/friendly staff, big, clean room.  The breakfast was excellent.  All around a positive experience, exceeding expectations, especially for the cost of a room.

We decided to stay here as a last stop on our way home to Minnesota from Bozeman, Montana. So glad we did! The staff is awesome! Thank you Mahala, Kendra, and the rest of your family for your hospitality! Great breakfast and clean rooms. We wish you well on your renovations, you have a great start.  Hopefully we'll see you again next year!
