Story

Langway Nissan of Newport is a private family owned dealership in Middletown, RI. We pride ourselves on understanding our customers, so we'd like our customers to understand a little bit about who we are.

Upon graduating from St. John's High School and Boston College, Jim Langway, owner and President, first became a dealer principal at the age of 24 and successfully transformed the small, struggling store into a thriving business by listening to his customers and understanding their needs. Mr. Langway currently owns and operates four successful dealerships in Southern Vermont and Rhode Island, and he instills a strong belief in building lasting relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction with every interaction.

As a longtime resident of Cape Cod, Mr. Langway frequently vacationed in Newport, finding kinship in the rich history and close-knit community of Aquidneck Island. When the opportunity presented itself in 2015, he was eager to expand his business into this area he had grown to love. Not only did he acquire some of the most exciting brands on the road, but he also acquired a dedicated staff.
