Took our vehicle in because the battery wouldn’t hold a charge. They said they fixed it (we were surprised when they told us it was not the alternator). Almost $1000. Told us we would need a new battery. Ok. We replace the battery, but the vehicle is still not right. Ended up having all exterior lights and interior light turn off on the pitch black road at night. As soon as I could, I pulled over. Vehicle died and would do anything after that. Managed to jump it and get it back to Larry’s. They say “Oh, it’s you alternator and it has ruined your battery”. Said they would fix the alternator (almost $600) and replace our battery at their expense. I called to pay and asked about the new battery at no charge. “Yes ma’am. New battery at no charge to you”. Went to pick up the vehicle and IT WOULDN'T START. Went inside to find out what happened. “Oh, we charged the battery, but I guess it didn’t work”. Remember when they told us the battery was ruined? Remember when they confirmed that our battery was replaced at their expense? I called and talked to the manager who was apologetic. Finally went to pick up the vehicle the next day. It was parked way in the back and was parked so close to another vehicle that you know they had to work to get that close. A child could not have gotten in the driver’s side. I went and told the manger we would never return and that his people are PETTY AND VENDICTIVE. Never again. Less-than-bright mechanics and crappy customer service.

Best place in Lynchburg by far! Wayne does the best job at taking care of my car. Would highly recommend to everyone!

I went to get brake pads on my truck yesterday which were pretty bad and grinding and was given a list of things that needed to be fixed including a brake fluid leak that was only because my caliper was bad and i was told it wasnt driveable so i abandoned my truck and caught a ride and went home and made a couple of phone calls and was given a name and number of a mechanic who said No bring it to me tomorrow morning at 8 and ill fix it you dont need all that work done and bring the parts you already purchased and ill use those which Larry's wouldnt let me do bit understandable so i went 2 hours later i got my truck repaired for $140.00 and took all my 325.00  parts back that i didnt need that Larry's told me i needed  $900.00 versus $140.00+100.00 for my own parts i purchased be careful people i found a great mechanic now that i will definitely be getting all my work done to any vehicle i own that didnt try to jip me im a single mom of 3 saving as much for my kids is what i try to do and Larry's tire was about to get my whole paycheck if i hadn't knew about my own truck and had i not already gotten people to look at ny truck before hand and tell me NO you don't need all that i felt very decieved and lied to and was pretty much about to get ripped off very overpriced and very disappointed and i was very upset and stressed out for 12 hours thinking about spending the last 900.00 i had that was supposed to last me 2 whole weeks until i got paid again🤔🤡

This is a great shop, top rating for character and work well performed on my daughter's Jeep Liberty. My daughter attends Liberty University and is far enough from home where I cannot keep an eye on the condition of her vehicle. I searched for shops near Liberty and Larrys came up as the #1 recommended on Yelp. I called, spoke to Heath and made an appointment within an hour or two of my call.

The issue was a rear window motor failing as she was unable to raise the window to close. The mechanics found that a connection has become disconnected and were able to quickly fix it. She was only charged a labor charge and no parts. A dishonest shop could have charged her a lot more and acted like they put in new parts. This shop is honest and helpful!

Super nice & accommodating. Priced fairly & lots of information given. Didn't mind at all that I ask tons of questions :)
