the worse staff imaginable. you will be created in the ER by a receptionist who will have an attitude no matter why you have come they will actually move there chair rather than see you in pain. then you get placed in a room to be ignored for no less than an hour all attempts to signal a nurse using the call button will be ignored as well as request for pain medicine or even a blanket. as much as Laurel is growing I would think they would need at least a half way decent medical facility to look after it's citizens. the told me I had cancer as a child I guess that's the disease of choice when you don't know what you are doing 3 years ago after weeks of testing they told me I needed a new liver then discharged me telling me I need figure out what to do next on my own

this place sucks and should be taken down with dynamite

This hospital is in a great area. I would think they would have the best of everything. I won’t go here for anything serious. Geepers creepers watch out!!

Worst ER hospital I've ever been to. Between the lack of communication amongst staff and the lack there of proper protocols and policies the place is mess. Perhaps it's just the staff, however, I do not recommend the Laurel Regional ER to anyone. The wait time to get in is not too long but once you're in the back, forget about it. You are going to spend the entire day waiting, while you listen to the doctors, nurses, and techs talk about their personal lives. But Nurse Amy tells me  "we literally have people dying" REALLY?!?! Then why are you all out here gossiping during work hours instead of helping the patients that are paying for your service.  Terribly disappointed, thought that under University of Maryland they would operate better, staff would be more knowledgeable, and as a patient receive the excellent care we deserve. Needless to say, I WAS WRONG!

Don't even bother. This ER has one of the slowest and most time wasting staff ever. I brpught my little kid who was burning with a serious ear infection. Imagine waiting more than 3 hours before even being called in. An additional 2 or more hours before being attended to by a doctor. I'll rather drive to Holy Cross or Anne Arundel medical from now on. 

Once I was here, a patient threw up all over the floor. No one came to clean it up for almost 30 minutes.

By the way, this isn't the first, second or even third time I've had this experience here.

Despite of the low ratings, the staff took good care of me once l was all checked in. :)
