She is a thief and will not represent you in court like she is suppose to she does not bring up the IMPORTANT facts...she is extremely unethical and works with cyfd to steal your money...she stole almost close to 40000 just for a restraining order...she is a waste of money and time ...do not use Dorene she is awful...the worst in ABQ which others have said as well

Ms. Kuffer and her staff assisted me in intervening in a CYFD case which ultimately resulted in the adoption of my two children. It was a lengthy and complex case, but I always felt confident that she was acting in my best interest and the interest of the children. She is extremely well versed in family law and the NM Children's Code. We communicated on a regular basis about the case, not just prior to hearings, so I always felt like we were on the same page. Over the course of the case I also worked with several of her staff members and felt comfortable with their handling of the case under her guidance. I have recommended her to several other families who have all appreciated her assistance in their cases.

Although hard, my experience with the Kuffer Law Firm in handling my divorce was very positive. Dorene Kuffer and all of her staff were always there for me in a professional and caring way. We had some very tuff corporate issues to get through and everyone in the firm was very knowledgeable and fought their hardest through the legalities of my issues. A lot of the time I was very doubtful that some of my issues could't even be taken care of but Dorene assured me they could and not to worry that her and her staff were there to take care of me. That is what they did and I am very grateful. Kathy Gateley

Dorene Kuffer and Gloria have been lifesavers. They have always put my kids first even if I was the parent who was being unreasonable. They are able to handle a delicate situation with ease. Dorene is very well versed in Family law and successfully navigates the exceptions that come up in a family law case. I trust her completely with my case.
