Wonderful food. Love that they post which farms supply their food. Love that is has indoor and outdoor seating. Not a salad peraon, but got one and can't wait to go back and have another. The only down side was our waiter. I think he asked us what drinks we wanted, but after that our food, silverware, and refills on water were done by other people. Hopefully it was just that night, because I'd love to go back.

Great beer selection, staff is always great, good food, and outdoor seating is a nice touch. It can get pretty loud on the busy nights. I've been to Coopers quite a few times and the food is never bad, but it is also rarely amazing. I remember their food being amazing and it feels like they've started to go down hill lately. Beer cheese pretzels are great, but they keep changing the beer cheese and pretzel recipes (3-4 times in the last 4 years?). Just stick with one. I would go there just for the beer cheese pretzels if they stopped changing the recipes.

The beer is good. Quaint atmosphere. Pork belly Mac and cheese had over cooked pasta with NO FLAVOR. Amy's salad dressing also had NO FLAVOR. The pear slaw was undetectable, the candied walnuts were served without the candied part. Stick to beer and fried foods. Definitely would not, would not visit again.

Great atmosphere and good beer prices. We only had drinks is the reason for no 5 star rating. I can't rate a place 5 without trying the food.

Great patio, food and atmosphere with a front row view of the capital. This is one of my favorite places in Madison. They always have a great selection on tap and there's variety in the food as well (which has never disappointed). Highly recommended.
