I had the best experience buying my car there and trading my old one in.
Bill Lum took extremely good care of me. Very professional, knowledgeable about his product, attentive to my needs and answering my questions to the point. I felt I could trust him without a doubt. He was amazing.
Tim Duncan took care of all the paperwork and he was also very well versed in the logistics of the purchase and the law saving us the tax expense of purchasing a hybrid. He was kind and friendly. The transaction went extremely smoothly.
This place is top notch because of the stellar people they bring on board.

If you're purchasing a Lexus, Juan is your guy! As he says, "he is the only Juan." He made the entire sales process extremely painless and is very knowledgeable! We strictly came in just for a test drive as we had some time on our hands that day, Juan gave us a great deal and the rest was history. I would give Juan and the entire sales process a 5/5!

Now the reason for my 3/5 rating is towards the lack of quality check, the dealership did on our car. We purchased our car in mid-July and noticed immediately that the A/C wasn't working correctly, especially on the driver side. When the temperature was set to the lowest temperature and the highest fan setting it was blowing straight warm air in the driver side, and rear vents. The passenger side was a little cooler, but definitely not as cold as it should've been. We live in PA, and the earliest appointment we could get with our local dealer was in 2 weeks, because we would need a loaner car as well. Turns out that he vehicle has a bad condenser and is the reason why the A/C wasn't working. My Lexus dealer in PA had to order the part, and were still waiting for it to come in. It is quite an inconvenience to keep running back and forth to that dealer as it isn't close by, and quite frustrating because it is the dead heat of summer and extremely hot. This could have been prevented if the dealer had done a quality check to make sure all aspects of the vehicle were up to "Lexus standard," luckily it is covered under the warranty, and will be fixed soon (hopefully). Another reason for the lower rating, was when the car was delivered to us, it wasn't as clean as I would've hoped in the inside. When we left with the vehicle it was fairly dark outside, so we didn't notice right away but the following day we saw that the interior had white lines on the door panels, and white dust and small pieces of plastic all over the seats and ceiling etc. I assume it was probably from plastic that was removed before it was "detailed," I had to take it to a local auto detailing shop to have the interior re-cleaned to bring it up to par. Having to pay an extra $$$ to have the car detailed when it should've been done the first time was frustrating. Overall I would recommend this dealer, just do your own quality check before driving off the lot.

The dealership is clearly run by leadership who really care about the client experience. Everyone we met at the dealership was extremely friendly and truly cared that we were comfortable. Car buying can be an unpleasant experience but not at Lexus of Rockville! The GM, Peter Bearsch, came over to greet us as soon as we walked in the door. He introduced us to our sales representative, Seth, and we were so pleased that we got to work with him. He was incredibly polite and knowledgeable about every vehicle we checked out. You can tell that he loved his job and that he was a total pro. You can buy a Lexus at several dealerships in the DC metro area but you cannot get the total package at the others. I will be back next year to get another car from Lexus of Rockville and we are surely customers for life. We will recommend this dealership to all of our friends and family. Five months ago, I made two trips from Frederick to Rockville, for a recall on the airbags of my IS 250.  Both times the service was scheduled, the second time I was called and ASKED to bring in my vehicle by a service writer at the dealership.  Both trips were a complete waste of my time, as the dealership did not have the airbags and sent me on my way after telling me so.  These trips were made during the day so I had to take time off from work in order to go to the dealership.  The second time I was so upset, the Service Manager talked to me and assured me that he would send someone up to Frederick to pick up my car, leave me a loaner, and then return my car once the airbags had been replaced.  That was FIVE MONTHS ago...and I've heard nary a thing from the dealership (and doubt I ever will).  I'm sure he was just saying that to get me out of there so other customers would not hear how upset I was.  Oh...and the recall says to not let anyone ride in the passenger seat because if there were an accident, it could result in their death.  Now why does Lexus think that I would not have anyone in the passenger seat of my car for over 5 months??????  So very disappointed in their service; I wish there was another Lexus dealer nearby where I could take the car.

*They say that the real test of a business is how they handle complaints.  If that is true, then Lexus of Rockville deserves more stars than I can give them with this review.  After seeing my first review here, they contacted me, picked up my car that evening, left me a loaner, kept the vehicle for two days, and returned it to me looking like a new car.  They did the airbag recall AND they detailed it inside and out and did an incredible job.  It looks fantastic and I'm very happy.  Matthew Reid, the Service and Parts Director, was an absolute joy to work with.  By far, he is the best person I've ever come in contact with at this dealership.  Thank you again Matt for all the effort you put into restoring my faith in this dealership.  Very impressive!!

Despite living next to the Lindsay Lexus dealership in Alexandria, we chose to lease our car from Rockville due to the amazing and meticulous care we received from day one from Arnold. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and courteous, but I truly feel he helped me get the best deal, especially after shopping around 5 other Lexus dealerships in the area. The attention to detail was incredible (he even had my RX350 f sport waiting for me with a large bow out front), the myriad paperwork went easily and smoothly, and the facilities were nice and clean. I would highly recommend Arnold and Rockville to anyone thinking about leasing a luxury vehicle.
