Reviews
Scam artists. They'll use every trick in the book to screw you out of every penny they can. It's pathetically evident they care more about signing up new rubes than they do about customer retention. If you're looking for a new gym for your NY resolution, save yourself the money and buy a bike. Customer "service" is a laugh. The only staff I liked was anyone working in the cafe or the locker rooms.

The gym is lovely, but the customer service is terrible. It took me three weeks to get an incorrect charge removed from my credit card. I called and emailed the sales rep, Ryan Davidson, multiple times but he didn't return my messages. I left a voicemail for the manager; no reply. I called the corporate office in Minneapolis twice; no call back. I got lucky and was able to catch a manager on the phone, Felipe Rodriguez, and finally got this resolved. By then I was frustrated beyond words.

They're great until you'd like to leave. My wife has been home with a two year-old, pregnant, and not feeling well at all, and they absolutely would not let us cancel over the phone. The best part was, once my wife did go in to cancel, they required us to pay for an additional month. We already hadn't been using it, because, like I mentioned, my wife hasn't been feeling up to going. So now we're out another $170 for a service we're not going to use. Such understanding people.

Myself, wife, and daughter have a membership here. We are overall satisfied so far. The faculty for the most part is helpful. The trainers are pretty cool and knowledgeable. The aquatic center is pretty good as well. The fitness center is often crowded but it is massive so it is in high demand. Overall it is a good value.

Have never had a bad experience at LifeTime. A great gym and solid staff thats always accessible. The amenities are clean and unkept everything you can desire is there. It is more than a gym! Nice work LifeTime
