Story

In the early 1930's, Allied Van Lines was formed as the first interstate moving van line in America. Lincoln Storage was one of their first 28 charter agents. Today we remain a significant part of the world wide Allied Network.

In the 1970's we established our international moving division and began arranging relocations all over the world. Over the past 40 years, as the global marketplace has grown we have grown with it. Our size and consistent quality has resulted in numerous industry awards. We have handled thousands of international moves over the past four decades. The early 1980's brought deregulation to the trucking industry. Lincoln Storage responded by remaining a top rated Allied Agent while successfully diversifying our services. First came the Commercial Moving Division (CMD) in 1983. Our focus on specializing in office and industrial moving and storage contributed to our growth and led us into a product Warehousing and Distribution Division that is still very busy.

The Lincoln Three In 1984 we began to store and manage files and records for Dayton area corporations. Our Records Management Division (RMD) was the very first professional records center in Dayton. In fact our warehouse at 315 E First St. is now filled with records. We have expanded into two additional facilities all owned by Lincoln Storage. We have kept pace over the last two decades with both the physical nature of records storage and the all important technology side of the business. We have a state of the art bar-coded retrieval system in place.

Recently we have added our Freight Hauling Division and its growth and success is very encouraging.
