Not my favorite zoo but it's pretty nice. You drive through most of it there's an informational disk for you to learn about the animals you are seeing. 

Once you finish that part you park and walk around the rest. Not as much variety as the palm beach zoo or Miami but you still have a good time and see a lot of animals. They also offer giraffe feeding which is a lot of fun and you get some really cool pictures.

Great place for a family fun day. The animal attractions were great, petting zoos, a tower where you can feed the giraffes. The water park was a hit, especially in the middle of a hot day. Food was pretty good, you can even get beer. I also liked that you have an option to drive through the animal park again on the way out. Definitely worth a trip.

Drove an hour to get there but it was well worth it. There were A LOT of cars and the lines were slow but but that just gave more time to see the animals.  The concept was great because you get to see the animals closer up and not behind fences. 
The down side for me is I have dark tint on my vehicle and you're required to keep your windows up at all times so taking pictures was a bit difficult.

Theme park area was great! Lines weren't too bad. Spent more time hanging out there than we did driving around.

Would definitely make the trip again one day.

Driving Safari is a lot of fun, and being so close to the animals is a blast. Be prepared for at least an hour in the car... in other words, pee before you start, especially the little kids, because there's nowhere to pull over inside. The park itself has a lot of great activities, and you should definitely remember to bring a bathing suit and a change of clothes. While the walk around park has some neat animals (porcupine, big snake,  alligator) it's definitely more focused around activities like roller racing, the petting zoo, the water rides, etc. And bring extra cash... some of the activities have $3 to $10 charges. Ideally,  I would say it's great for kids between 4 and 10 years of age.

Loads, and loads of fun. I had the most wonderful time at Lion Country Safari. It's fun for the ENTIRE family. You cannot go wrong out this fun family park. There is something for everyone. And please wear your bathing suits. Believe you me your going to need them.
