Minutes away, ride the aerial tramway 4,180 feet up Cannon Mountain for spectacular vistas or fish in Echo Lake. Hikers head for Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch, Kinsman Notch or Pinkham Notch. Mount Washington Cog Railway, 25 miles away, chugs up the 6,288-foot summit (or you can take the auto road). Shop in historic downtown Littleton or Conway's outlet stores.
