The worst experience I have ever had in my 15 years of having locs. Before writing this review I have waited 3 weeks to see if this company would have the decency to make up for cancelling the appointment I scheduled a month in advance, took the day off for and booked a babysitter for my children due to their rule of no children allowed.the appointment was cancelled 1 1/2 hours prior to it’s appointed time on the Friday of Easter weekend. I have not heard from these people since. This company charges you a fee if you are late or cancel later than 2 days prior, doesn’t allow children of any age- yet where is my reimbursement for taking the day off and the money I deposited for a babysitter? However, I should say thank you - I saved $300 by doing joy hair myself as I would have normally done or gone to Atlanta. I fully support black owned businesses but we have to do better. It’s about supporting businesses who support the clientele they service.

I visited them today just to ask about consultation and prices. It was pretty sweet, love the decor, customer service was great everyone spoke to us walking in. Paulette the owner was very kind and informative! She was kind enough to look at my husband and my hair to let us know where we were at and how she would go about handling our hair. Haven't even got my hair done yet but I look forward to setting up an appointment!

I had my consultation today for starter locs and overall I had a really good experience. The loctician who did my consultation was very nice and very personable. I like that the owner makes all of the products that she sells from natural products. One of my biggest letdowns is the fact that the price I was quoted during my consultation was more than double what I saw on the website.
