I agree with other reviewers in that some rooms are very dated but as a new owner I can say that I have redone all surfaces from floor to ceiling in my rental unit as you can see from the pics.  Each unit is individually owned but some units are offered by the complex and others are rented through private routes.  I'm very hands on with my unit and wanted to ensure that my guests had the best experience so if you are particular about where you stay then I would suggest looking at sites where owners  are offering their units for rent such as airbnb, home away or even here on trip advisor.  That way you know exactly what unit you are getting and can communicate with the owner directly. You can read reviews of the exact unit that you will be staying in.  I know that I love the hotel for its friendly staff, awesome views and great location.  It certainly offers good amenities as well. I love being here!  I love this area.  I can access multiple trailheads and mountains as well as shops and restaurants so easily.  Not to mention that once I'm in the unit it is so peaceful.  If you find a unit that is well cared for then you will see what a jewel this place is for the price point.  You can't beat the location or views.  You just need the right unit for your needs and tastes.

The rating is for the room. The staff was fine and friendly. The location is great. Its really too bad the owners of these rooms are not made to keep their units up at $210 a night.      Our room was very dated and the sofa was very old . The pull out couch was held together with tons of duct tape. Had to put a sheet on the couch to sit. My husband could not sleep at all because our bed was like sleeping in a canoe. One of the chairs in the upstairs loft was so badly stained it was scary. I don't mind dated if you have a nice mattress and clean furniture to sit on.
