When did this place become so expensive? Been a few years since I've been to this restaurant. I got 3 adult means,2 drinks,  and 2 kids meals with drinks and it was $50. They didn't get one of the ordered sides right it was supposed to of been rice, not fries. It was freezing from the air running in the middle of winter. The service was just okay nothing worth bragging about. The food was good and fried to perfection.

What was once a great place to eat has turned into a not-so-good place. The food is never fresh and very old, possibly from sitting for longer than 30 minutes. Fries are also cold, like they've been sitting for longer than 30 minutes. The building is in shamble and hasn't fixed or improved itself. The lighting in the drive-thru area is very dim and doesn't provide a well-lit area. Whoever is running this store is doing a grave disservice for a once really great place.

Ate there on the first Friday of the new year, in a sunny, but windy afternoon. It was a great respite from the cold. Delicious hot fish, great coleslaw and Lobster was the spot on fire! Needed garlic butter, and apparently they have neither of them. So, bring you own sauce, cause theirs is full of soy. I really enjoyed the grilled shrimp platter, good green beans and killer okra. ok rice no flavor and no soy sauce. Overall 3.9/5 Thank you for your solid and polite services.  Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp and guard rail, all the way up to the front door. Employees opened the door for us handicappers. Thank you once again. Nice young people.

All I ordered was 2 pieces of chicken, 3 shrimp and 2 hush puppies. It came to $9.77. I realize that everything has gone up, but this is ridiculous. If I wanted to spend that kind of money for so little food, I would have gone to Red Lobster. Not only was it expensive, it was extremely greasy. I used to go to LJS quite a bit. Never had any that greasy. I definitely won't be back. I can't afford it. Bye.

I'm not one to eat fish regularly. But when I feel the urge I go to Long John Silvers. Always satisfying when I get the urge. My latest trip was great. Cashier was new and had to ask senior staff questions. But we all have to learn. So nothing bad there. Food was excellent. Service was great. So of course I will return when the urge strikes.

I love fish and really love the batter and spices at LJs. I don't have the opportunity often so always look forward to a visit. I guess the staff on this day were having a rough day or someone told them they were getting a pay cut or something as they were not very friendly or hospitable. We ate our meal and left but I must say it might be awhile before I return. My fish desires can be met at other venues in Springfield

I am sorry i stoped here to eat. The service was pour. And the place needed to be cleaned. The food was not very good very greasy and the shrimp was very bad tasted old. The fries was not very good some of the fish was over cooked and some was under cooked. So if you find somewhere else to go try it not here. Very pour place to eat.Food: 1/5

The only reason I give it 1 star is so I can leave a review.. place looked closed down .. food over priced for what you get we ordered a bowl and it wasn’t even half full but they charged almost $12.00 for it and then got snotty when something was said about the portion not being right for what we paid . Sadly we won’t be coming to this location EVER AGAIN and we spent almost $30

I came through the drive-thru and I ordered a 16 piece family meal with all fish they made me pull forward and I waited around 30-45 minutes and I get my order  I look at my order and they only gave me 13 pieces and half of them were chicken. I went back to the drive-thru to get it fixed and they did with hardly any apologies. They gave me the new box with all fish and again they shorted me 2 pieces. So again I go thru the drive thru and say what they messed up on and again no sincere apology. They make me pull forward and wait another 15 minutes until they finally give me my 2 shorted pieces of fish and she just said “here’s your fish” sounding so irritated.  I’ve been going to other long John silvers for decades and I’ve gone to this one a couple times and always a horribly long wait and not good customer service at all.Horrible experience won’t be going here again.

OK to be fair..  I love LJS.  I only eat the chicken and it's amazing every time.  My wife gets the fish.  But good is great service can be alittle slow but nothing worth not going.  Food is always fresh and that's what counts
