I ordered a beer and guacamole to start out. I was informed that they ran out of avocados today....um, it's 7 pm and they couldn't be bothered to go to the store to buy more avocados? I drank my beer while I searched for a different restaurant nearby, went to Shucked for dinner and drinks. Service at Los 3 Potrillos was very good, but the owner or manager needs a lesson in inventory management.

The bartenders know us by name and are very friendly. The salsa is amazing, as is the rest of the food. I get the steak fajitas almost every time, but the El Volcano is AMAZING. Can get crowded on weekends so I prefer to go during the day time. Servers are always polite. Joel the bartender is the best!

Los 3 Potrillos has the cheapest drinks in town and multiple happy hours daily, and their tall beer glass is around a quart. I come here whenever I can, it's one of my favorite restaurants in the whole country. Everyone is really friendly and it is easy to become a regular. The food is pretty standard for a Mexican-American restaurant, it's nothing super special or fancy, but it all tastes great and this is where a lot of Mexicans come to eat, too. Birthdays involve drums, singing, and sombreros, if you're into that kind of thing. Friday and Saturday nights are super busy, you might not find seating in the bar, which has multiple screens and a couple of really long tables for large parties. They'll also change the channel on one of the TVs if you ask nicely, but they are almost always showing a few different sports. The music in the bar changes depending on who's tending, I think they just hook their phones up and pick a playlist. The only complaint I have ever had is that one time my food was burnt. It was the first time I had to send food back in years, and when they brought a replacement, it was burnt, too, so maybe avoid ordering the Milano. Also, it usually takes a couple of days for my card to get charged after I pay, so remember how much you tipped or you might accidentally overdraw your account. Everything else about the place is great (especially the carnitas), and I've probably ordered everything on the menu. And, if you get too drunk or get lucky, all you have to do is walk fifty feet to the hotel they share the building with.

I live in Chicago & almost every time I come to Conway to see my girlfriend, we stop in here at least once. The service has been good & we have enjoyed the food options as well!
