A long-time Conway favorite, re-opened now in our original location!
Homemade American breakfast until 11am, lunch and dinner until 10pm. Sandwiches, salads, burgers, soups, and of course, our world famous cheese dip! We'll see you in soon.

For some reason it has a good reputation, but I think those days are long past. The service is consistently poor. The food is nothing special although sometimes it's good. We asked for honey & salsa, & they came in a tiny condiment container. We ordered an omelette & cinnamon roll. The insides of the omelette needed to be cooked longer. It was on the small side. Skip the cinnamon roll. It was small & dry. Had I not ordered, I wouldn't have guessed what it was. It was like those sweet rolls you get at the grocery store in a tin, but not as good. No butter, and not much else. The new building however is wonderful. It's long overdue.

Ate at this place the first time a couple weeks ago and the food was really good. Returned today. Waited 35 minutes on a table only for them to refuse to serve us lunch at 15 minutes till 1100. Plus the waitress was rude about it. She just said over and over lunch is not served till 1100 in a rude tone. We told her we would wait. Then she said it would be another 30 minutes past eleven before they could cook the food. I could understand if we came in at 8am, but at 1045 and you refuse to serve us like you’re angry that we showed up early for lunch. And on top of everything you were rude about it. We just decided to leave and eat somewhere else. You know what, you lost our business. Never again. I hope it’s worth it to treat your loyal customers that way.

Absolutely terrible. Don't understand what has happened. The server was sexist, who hires people like that in a restaurant. She got my wife's order completely correct and refilled her glass this is after forgetting that we were even there. She took over 15 minutes to get our food. And then got my order wrong and my glass was never refilled over the 45 minutes we had sat there. No other server had noticed us either wish is depressing. The French dip sandwich I ordered was completely pink and blood on my plate. I did not continue to even take a bite. I had order fries as a side instead of ruffles chips. Which by the way costs you an extra 2.50$ instead of being a substitute. Then after paying for our horrible meal service another 15 minutes to collect a to go soda. So honestly I rate this at a 1 star with all respect. You guys need a new crew period. Front and back. Will not return and shall pass the word on my horrible time here.

So happy that Stoby's has risen from the ashes to return to Conway's dining scene. The food was great as usual. We appreciate how they honored their history with their story on the menu and the return of the table flags. The improvements keep an eye to the past with a larger building that maintains the cozy scale of the original, and new restrooms poke fun at the old ones, ensuring that future generations have an appreciation of this Conway landmark.

The new restaurant is well appointed and the wait staff and food are great. The extended parking is a big plus. Welcome back to normal Stoby's! Thank you so much for reinvesting in Conway. Lloyd
