No power from yesterday and they have no idea what is going on. It’s ridiculous we are in 2018 and still dealing with stupid companies

I'm glad I'm done with LADWP. When I first moved to LA they wouldn't let me set up an account claiming my social security number didn't exist. I had to go to the social security office to get proof that it in fact did. They were very rude about it too acting like I was using a fake one. And over the time I was using them they repeatedly overcharged me and saying it was my fault my bill was always so high. "oh maybe you watch too much TV" when I didn't own a TV. "oh energy saving bulbs don't save energy"/"the energy star electronics don't save energy", etc. I would only have one light on when it got dark out until I went to sleep but never used the lights during the day. I lived in a studio and I'd get bills for almost $300 a month. LADWP is one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are some of the rudest people I've ever dealt with. There is no way in hell my bill should ever be that much. It should probably be about $20 tops. So glad I got away from them and now have an electric bill of $7-$12 a month. Do yourself a favor and find an apartment/home in an area without LADWP. They are not even worth dealing with. No wonder they have so many class action lawsuits against them. I got something in the mail asking if I want to be a part of one of them and I think I might.

Surprisingly this dwp provides very good service even tho only two windows. A lot paid public parking spot around. They also provide bilingual windows Korean and Spanish :)

Over charged me via auto pay no one to help me out. 4 charges in the same week. Absurd.

Canceled my service June 1, 2016 and I am still waiting for my deposit of $160 to be returned to me as of December 25, 2016. Thiefs!
