We weren't planning on going here, but we were lured into the bar from the red lights and the "live jazz" sign. We had no idea what to expect and it turned out to be a great time. It definitely had a dive bar feel to it in the basement area, but the room upstairs was really enjoyable. It was an indoor/outdoor space with a live tree in the middle of the room and lots of cute string lights. The live jazz was fantastic to listen to!
I’m going to echo what many others have mentioned. The bar typically has an overall nice atmosphere, but the bartenders have got to get some additional training. They really are holding this place back from being one of the more unique and fun spots in Denver. Unfortunately did not have an enjoyable experience.
I was in the basement part of the bar this past Friday night and the bar itself was fine, but the two female bartenders ruined the overall experience here for me. I also work at a bar so I understand tending to the entire bar takes time, but I was deliberately ignored for about 15 minutes with the bartenders tending to every patron around me, looking at me, and either walking away or tending to a customer that would eventually walk up to the bar. I chalked it up to being a female, as everyone else at the bar was male, but after reading some of these comments it could also unfortunately be due to my race. I had to get my white male friend to eventually get their attention for me in which one of them immediately came over to him. We ordered one drink and immediately left.
All are welcome. If you want to have some heavy and beautiful culture in Denver check the spot out. Beautiful people beautiful art beautiful music
Classic dive that seems to have only gotten better over the years. With a new patio that greatly expands capacity. Proudly featuring The Meadowlark street from near Meadowlark park in Lakewood. Ha. Try the Sicilian pizza next door, it's awesome.
This was a V E R Y happing place to Be the staff was very friendly and the drink's are worth the sip, and let me say the dancer's we're on point But the best performance and preformer was the Host... Her Red sexiest Boots and red hair to match .... XOX
Great place to hang out. Live music was local people just jamming out. Will be back again. Highly recommend.
Staff or one of their friends tried to steal me and my buddy’s jackets last night. I was already bored of this place but that seals it for me. Another scummy Denver “club” added to the list.
Dope bar with dope DJs playing hip hop and r&b. Great crowd on Saturday nights!
Weird, eclectic dive bar! Cheap drinks and spacious upstairs patio with plenty of seating
