In Louisville our police department is doing so many things right. The neighborhood program where police are in neighborhoods meeting people Before there are problems is excellent. And every police officer is trained in crisis intervention to help mentally ill people and their families. I feel fortunate to have this police department protecting us.

While attending the Derby yesterday I became a little overheated. Your police that were manning the traffic outposts were the best! I just needed to rest briefly while walking to the parking lot. They were kind(offering me their cold bottled water) a sun sheltered place to sit and were very professional and friendly. True Southern gentlemen.Thank you Louisville police you are a fine representation of Louisville!

My shoes were stolen from a non-profit. I am not mental or mentally ill. Please officer bossy pants stop abusing me. I am talented underemployed and simply just want my shoes back. I bought sneakers for work last week and paid $27.49 + sales tax. The definition of theft is as follows: In common usage, theft is the taking of another person's property without that person's permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it.[1][2] The word is also used as an informal shorthand term for some crimes against property, such as burglary, embezzlement, larceny, looting, robbery, shoplifting, library theft and fraud.[1][2] In some jurisdictions, theft is considered to be synonymous with larceny;[2] in others, theft has replaced larceny. Someone who carries out an act of or makes a career of theft is known as a thief. The act of theft is known by terms such as stealing, thieving, wicksing, and filching.[2] You might just as well admit to accusing me guilty of being intelligent both of my parents are lawyers. I think its pitiful that a policeman can be mean to like this. Some police officers are bullies. I have seen this on Youtube. It is documented. I don't mind them doing a sanity check everyonce in a while but I really think I should be allowed to find work and work appropriate clothing. I myself have given friends computers. I have given my friends 4 computers that I did not need. If I find myself in a situation where I might need the appropriate 'costume' such as a Tahari suit and it could make the difference of tens of thousands of USD $ in my salary based on how I am dressed and my presentation. I just feel like my rights should be respected should be acknowledged. I believe you were telling me that my rights were actually irrelevant. I went to the Internal Revenue Service today. I suspect misappropriation of funds. That is a form of theft but police don't care about anything significant they turn the other way. Hey Randall Eller I am going to read your review. I had to have some uppity 'white lady' tell me I'm not allowed to draft my own police report. I am trying out as a federal ageant. I am tired of blokes not knowing the actual law and mistreating regular citizens who once in a while need a little help with a job. Not a mental illness diagnosis. I told the cop I would like to meet with someone to talk to. I don't mind talking. I am friendly and have been to Europe several times within the last five years where people tell me they like me. I would like equality I want my sneakers back I am suing in small claims court and pursuing an investigation on misappropriation of funds

This should be "Louisville Metro Police Department. It should be pinned to the building on the NE corner of S. 7th St. and W. Market St. I am not sure why the 633 W. Jefferson St. address was chosen, when the main entrance is on the east side of 7th north of Jefferson. An alternate and more correct address is 225 S. 7th St. The complex is not behind City Hall on Congress Alley BUT WEST of City Hall, W. Jefferson on the south side, S. 7th on the west side and Congress Alley on the north side. I worked there for 25 years in the former LPD building.
