I recently bought a $5000 custom door through Lowes. Reeb Millworks was the company that made the door. The door is peeling off large pieces of it's finish right from the start. Neither Lowes or Reeb will pay to have the door restained and make this right. The quotes I gave them were denied and they said they would give the stain kit to me, but I had to pay to have my brand new door stripped and restained. I do a lot of business with Lowes and must've spent well over $100,000 with them this year. I own multiple properties and renovate and flip property. I will be seeking another company to do business with for my tools and material in the future. I'm extremely disappointed with the manager at Lowes in North Smithfield that I was dealing with. I felt he made little effort to try and make this right. Now they have lost more in my future business than it would've cost just to make this right in the first place. Penny wise dollar foolish as they say. I will be spreading the word about my experience to others in my field as well.

Staff is very knowledgeable. The only time they didn't have what I needed, they directed me to a local store that would.

People there were very friendly and helpful. They helped us load our purchase into the car.

The 20-something helped me find stump killer in 3 minutes! He spent 90 seconds of that walking to the correct isle :) While 4 people at H...D... couldn't do the job (17 minutes) :( That was today:)

Went to the paint department and got there just after 1 pm. Another lady had already rung the button looking for service and had been waiting for 10 minutes. The pager went off for different times with no response from anyone, even though customer service was directly across from us and they could see us waiting. Finally, after 20 minutes I requested customer service call the manager of the day. He showed up and had no clue of what was going on. When he determined what was finally going on they were short-staffed and there were no apologies made. He finally sent someone over who proceeded to just take care of the first person who walked up to him and didn't bother with the people who had been waiting there for more than a half an hour at that point. Both the paint department manager in the manager of the day need to be trained in how to deal with customers. And Department Staffing
