The wontons and charsui were quite good. The wontons had whole shrimps inside. The was not too fat. Prices are pretty good.
I ordered Doordash pickup and had some really tasty brisket and braised duck. It was very fresh and I was satisfied. Pickup was also very quick and straight forward since there is a walk up counter. It's to the right of the entrance to Asian Family Market; there were two restaurants inside there. Chopsticks were included but no napkin.
Super rude, out of my 24 years life in the states. l have never seen this kind of arrogant and impatient customer service! When you order from them it feels like you owe them money. Good luck ordering food here.
UPDATE: I added one . I requested for a sauce when I purchased a whole duck. The cashier was confused at my asking, and promptly said they don’t have soy sauce “sauce”. I explained further, the butcher chimed in and corrected the cashier. I walked away with a tub of brown sauce . You’ll get 5 from me when you priced your roasted meats accordingly. I really like to shop and support your business. My honest opinion, their roasted duck is superb and I’m willing to pay for the pricey duck. They simply need to make duck dripping sauce available. The duck fat in spices are there from the duck unless they were roasted somewhere else. They should be offered free and included in the box. When I asked for the duck brown sauce, they looked me blank in the eyes “what brown sauce?". I’ve ignored any decent CS, as they’re not their typical etiquette nor would be willing to reciprocate to smily approaching customers. ‍. It’s a common courtesy. When customers pay for half or whole duck, give them all the parts. I’ve had experienced my box weighing only a few ounces with fatty pieces therefore it felt cheated after paying for the full price. Where did the breast pieces gone, sometimes they were mixed end pieces from whatever they gathered from their stash. Honest to gawd it was that obvious. If you compared boxes of roasted meat purchased from ID to this store, the differences are the missing pieces, weight and the costs. If you can't he honest and charge restaurant pricing but not deliver the quality, you'll suffer in the end. With absentee owners or dedicated manager present at the store would be hard to run a successful biz That's just my honest opinion. Cheers.
Grand opening so I gotta go give it a try. It is located right next to inside connected the Asian family market. I have only bought a bbq duck and a piece of bbq pork. Duck was fresh out of oven! Both were heated up before dinner in a toaster oven and they tasted good! I am sure the duck would have tasted even better there. Meat was juicy and delicious. The only thing was the paper box was soaking wet with all the juice from duck when I got home... Will definitely go back and try more items!
I really hate giving negative reviews. But OH MY GOD that woman at cashier was so beyond rude. I ordered the BBQ pork and duck rice in Cantonese and she snapped at me. Then I was trying to get a text receipt after the purchase, she pushed my hands away without saying anything before I even finished. Man, really? I was so excited to have a Cantonese wonton noodle and bbq shop around but this makes me just wonder who hurt them.
Not many people realise this. I had few times experiences of getting half ducks. But found out there are few pieces are missing around 1/3 of the half duck. I think they keep those pieces for other individual dish orders. That is a very bad business behaviour. Also, not sure why they don’t want to give out sauce. Every time you aske, they question you.
Thank you owner for the timely response. Update - waited long to get order but the BBQ did taste good with good portion. Noodle is not as expected.
Roast pork on rice was cold when we ordered to eat at the food court. Their response was that it was all cold
I order 1 lb.Roast Pork and a whole skinny duck and they gave me a whole old chicken. Very disappointed. No more buy again
