About

The exhibit features actual human specimens & takes visitors through galleries providing an up-close look inside the complex systems of the human body.

Story

Since the earliest efforts of ancient Egyptians to distinguish individual organs, humankind has been fascinated with uncovering the secrets of the human body. The study of human anatomy remains a cornerstone of medical education. BODIES...The Exhibition provides millions of visitors around the world with unprecedented access to anatomical detail historically only available to medical professionals.

BODIES...The Exhibition offers an intimate and informative view into the human body. Using an innovative preservation process, the Exhibition allows visitors to see the human body's inner beauty in educational and awe-inspiring ways. Our Exhibitions have over 200 actual human bodies and specimens meticulously dissected and respectfully displayed, offering an unprecedented and wholly unique view into the amazing body.

Specimens in the Exhibition are prepared through a revolutionary process called polymer preservation, in which human tissue is permanently preserved using liquid silicone rubber. This process creates a specimen that will not decay, offering thousands of unique teaching possibilities for educators at all levels. Preparation time varies: a small organ may take only a week, while a full-body specimen may take up to a year to prepare. After quality preservation, specimens can last for decades.

Look deep inside the systems of the human body: Skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, and circulatory. Come explore, experience, and celebrate the wonder of the human form at BODIES...The Exhibition.

Nice large casino. Casino floors are well lit, not dark like some of the older ones. The hotel room was comfortable but it was a bit dated. It could stand some refreshing. Carpets were showing some wear and one of the chairs in the room had a coffee stain on the cushion. Everyone we dealt with on the staff, from the front desk, casino workers, and cleaning service were professional, helpful, and very friendly. The check-in lines at the front desk can get very long so I would recommend doing the mobile check-in as you get a separate lane/queue that is very short and fast.

Cheap yes, close to the strip yes, it's not super fancy as the other hotels around. You are typically just getting what you paid for. Cleaning service is good, sheets are super clean cant complain about the room but how to get to the room!! Its huge hotel they give you the key with the room number and good luck finding the room when they have no signs to guide you!! It took me 30 minutes walking around until someone works there directed me to where my room is. So make sure to ask how to get to your room.

Our group reserved a total of four rooms, about three months prior to our stay. We called several times to ensure that our rooms would be connected. They took our confirmation numbers and told us that it would not be a problem, and they put in the request then at check in they would assign our rooms together. When we arrived to check in, we found that our rooms were not even in the same location (one in towers and three in pyramid), and it was too late for us to change any of the reservations. We were then told the the hotel does not even have two, double queen rooms conjoined, it has to be one king and a double queen. This would have been useful information three months prior, as we would have stayed at a different hotel. We needed two double queens conjoined for parents and their children. Then we were informed that they did not have any conjoined rooms left in the pyramid at all, despite the fact that we came early to check in, this was very disappointing as the children in our group were excited about staying in a pyramid, so we were moved to the towers and the could not even put us on the same floor as the other people in our group that were in the towers. One person in our group had taken a shower and was laying down for a nap, when an employee unlocked the door and came into her room. She was told that this was due to them not completely checking the room out before assigning it to her?!?! Then we had items sent to us by mistake, which we did not accept. When I called the front desk right after the attempted delivery, I was told that we were not charged for the items, yet lo and behold it was on our final bill, this took 11 emails and over two weeks to clear up. I tried to call the customer service line, several times within their business hours and always received the after hours message. The hotel and casino itself is absolutely beautiful, unfortunately the customer service leaves too much to be desired.

All I can really say is that the room was great. We had no problems while we were there. I did like the variety of different food places and loved how Mandalay Bay and Luxor connected to each other. Since the hotels are on the south side of the strip, we did take the tram up to Excalibur (which really wasn't that far) and then headed up to about Planet Hollywood. All-in-all, I would stay here again. No complaints.
