Liz was my waitress and did an extremely good job very attentive and friendly she needs a raise . I tasted all the food as like to be able to give reviews on the items I post pictures of. Fettuccine Alfredo was one of the best I’ve ever had 10 out of 10 scale. The stake was very definitely premium cut and the chef definitely knows how to cook a steak top 5 stake I have ever had being from Kansas City area and stakes are hard too beat this one was amazing 10 out of 10 . The was spaghetti and meatball was pretty good 7.5 out of 10. Wings 5 out of 10. Im a buffalo sauce wing guy grandma ordered honey garlic. So the flavor choice would have been different if I would have ordered wings
I really love the way they designed and built this outdoor patio area. The wood ceiling; the lattice fencing; the plants; the table settings; and of course the cool table-tops featuring classic movies. The food was good - I had the eggplant parmesan, and it was a generous portion with a nice side of spaghetti; the seared scallops are also very good. I also love how they bring out the fresh bread with olive oil to hold you over until your food comes. The waiter was excellent; and it’s just an all around nice, friendly place.
The clam chowder is excellent. The waiter was attentive. The bread was good. If you are traveling as person who needs a wheelchair to get around this place needs a lot of modifications for you to be able to enjoy. There is only one handicapped spot and if anyone who can walk parks there, takes it up. You have to go through the side door which the doors are heavy and you can't keep them open and use your wheelchair at the same time. The place is so small that wheelchairs block walking in the aisle. They need to have a wheelchair sitting area in the middle with larger walkways. The bathroom cannot be accessed AT ALL by wheelchair. I spoke with the Manager and she said they are aware of the problems and are fixing them. Call ahead and ask about the bathrooms specifically since this is important to have when you are eating.
This place is amazing. We have been coming here for the past 6 years and every year it gets better and better. The owner is very nice and wants to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible. This place gets busy. Make sure you get there early. The parking situation is a pain, but the food is very much worth it.
Came as a recommendation by out condo staff. Was fantastic, great tasting and very nicely priced. All the wait staff was great too. Can't wait to go back in June.
Juan was our server he was welcoming and patient with us. He recommended different dishes all of which were a great choice. Our kids loved white pizza with shrimp and their virgin pina coladas. Meanwhile my husband and I shared the Italiano panini and a pastas, we were preferable to the panini. I had what they call a cucumbertini apparently they’re only an island drink. It was a refreshing change of flavors in a cocktail. We brought some desserts home while we haven’t eaten them yet they do look delicious and of sizable portions.
We stopped in for lunch on a Monday afternoon because the cafe we planned to visit was unexpectedly closed, and we couldn't be happier about it! The restaurant is small but comfortable, with a mix of booths and tables, and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. They offer a lunch menu M-F, and the portions are very generous! A loaf of crispy yet fluffy house made ciabatta bread was brought for us to enjoy while we waited for our order, served with a whipped garlic butter. The lunch order of Italian nachos was enough to feed 2 people easily! The Tuscano soup is some of the best soup I have ever had, and the pizza and calzone looked and tasted like they were fresh from a brick oven. My VERY picky son, who considers himself a pizza gourmet, said it was one of the best pizzas he has ever had! We plan to visit again soon to try out their dinner menu.
This is an absolute amazing experience. Authentic Italian right next to the beach. The service is excellent The atmosphere is excellent It’s a wonderful place to bring family and be able to enjoy great food and a noise level where the entire table can hear. The food is beyond good. I had both the pizza and Tuscano soup. My mind is blown away with both. The pizza crust was thin and crisp. The ingredients were fresh. The soup is not an Olive Garden meal so be ready for excellence. The prices are fair and probably low being that you are on an island. Way above expectations Pictures do no justice
Wonderful meal after a beach day. Kid friendly food pasta and pizza are delicious. Generous portions. Large party seating available. Will definitely return.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Meatball Cafe. The atmosphere is dark and classy, very unique for the island. Lighting and decorations are all pleasant. Our waiter was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The complimentary bread was incredible, as was the olive oil/vinegar dip served with it. I ordered the calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, and basil. It was great! Overall would certainly recommend!
