Was very surprised to find accommodations in Manyunk! Our stay was absolutely great, the prices are very affordable and has many amenities that I really didn't expect. The staff is very helpful and really make you feel comfortable in every way. They always know what is going on.

I am so happy I found Manayunk Terrace. It was a great place to stay. The neighborhood was quiet (including the tiny tavern across the street) and safe. The bedroom and bathroom were large, fresh, and lovely. The kitchen and communal living space were well-stocked with different breakfast possibilities. That proved to be perfect for me, since I could eat very early and take off for my meetings. The 27 bus route was only a block up hill, and the commute took 20-30 minutes to get to the Convention Center. Returning “home” each night to Manayunk was a treat, because there were so many dining choices within a 6-12 block radius. Cooper’s is a great restaurant and worth a visit to Manayunk alone. I would guess that there are more choices for non-tourist dining in Manayunk than near the hotels downtown. Finally, Joanie was a great hostess. She picked me up at the 30th Street Station and gave me a brief tour of the Main St in Manayunk and neighborhood around the B&B. After showing me the facilities at Manayunk Terrace, she handed me the keys and left me to relax and enjoy. However, I received daily emails from her to make sure that I had everything I needed. Manayunk Terrace truly was a lovely home away from home, and I will ask for it again, if I ever return to Philadelphia.
