The staff has gone above and beyond my expectations for hospitality and guest satisfaction. From being politely greeted upon coming in and escorted, to the smaller things like lending you an umbrella down at the valet desk or a pen to use. They don't give you any stress if you are very busy and in and out of the hotel at all hours. Their security is always on call and it always feels safe and comfortable. I was blown away by how they made such efforts. I love little details like the towels in the fitness room are scented and have a cool feel to them. For the price you're paying you get your money's worth. Plus lots of bars and places around to go to for shopping. My only complaint is that the bed frame in my room was really pointy on the corners and I stumbled into it a couple times. But it did not ruin my experience

My department has hosted its end of year gala at the Hilton in for a few years now. The location is perfect as it's close to campus and the size of the venue works well for our group of about 300. The food has been good on all occasions. The only concern is the sound system. That has been of poor quality for a room this size. It is very difficult to hear speakers in the large room. Thankfully the celebration doesn't rely on the voice system much and the DJ brings his own setup.

Came up to Philly for an appointment at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia ... ask for the CHOPS rate. Very nice hotel however the lobby area and registration is under construction currently. Management states that the new registration/lobby area is now completely finished, We stayed on the 6th floor in a room with 2 beds. These are full size beds. If you are tall the King size beds would be better. There were 3 of us in this room -- it was difficult for me and my daughter to share a bed (very small). We will stay here again but will get a room with a king size bed and a pull out sofa. We did not eat here so I cannot tell you about the food but the location is great and we walked around the area. Staff friendly. Highly Recommend.

Great hotel in the heart of University City. Immaculate rooms with a comfy bed. Close to Septa and a ton of great food. Front desk crew was great.

We had a dance competition that weekend, and we had booked 4 rooms ahead of time. We had received affirmation codes, but when we checked in at the hotel, they could not find our rooms or our confirmation numbers. They were fully booked and couldn't accommodate us (probably because of Superbowl weekend). They found out it was a system error that affected a couple teams. They ended up getting us a reservation at the Shelton, which is a block away, and paid for our first night there, and gave us the option of coming back to their hotel for the second night (we didn't take them up on that offer). And all the staff was friendly and seemed genuinely concerned for us. But it was frustrating to be waiting for so long and trying to figure out if we had to find another place for our team last minute. And they had offered us breakfast coupons, but when we called the next morning, they said that was not correct. That was also pretty frustrating.
