This was a great stop on our Colorado trip. They have a great museum and gift shop. Friendly and knowledge staff. You can walk through the structure. The kids had a great time crawling throw windows and doors. It made for some great pictures. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area stopping to have a look for yourself.

We adventured here on a Tuesday around 1pm. We got lucky and a school group was just leaving. So we had the place to ourselves. The dwellings have been maintained very beautifully. Walking through the gift shop down to the restrooms and museum was a beautiful walk as well as it’s built inside of the mountain. The dwellings themselves aren’t very big, so it shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes depending on how long you like to browse. We went and grabbed lunch after at a place nearby named Amanda’s Fonda. Amazing Mexican food! I’d recommend doing the Cliff Dwellings and Cave of the Winds in the same day as they are right next to each other.

It's an interesting place to see when you have spare money and time. I, like many, think the admission is high (even with the coupon and there is tax on admissions) hence the 3 stars. You pay at a gate in your car. Employees were friendly. I liked the soothing tribal music. It was a nice visit.

Surprisingly well kept, informative, and clean! There aren't too many cliff dwellings like these that you can walk in and around unguided, and climb on, which was fun for adults and kids. Their museum was also very extensive (seemed like were 3 of them there) and their gift shop felt enormous. I highly recommend visiting!

It's cool. It's really one enormous exhibit of cliff dwellings that were rescued from vandals decades ago. The place is well preserved and interactive. There is a decent modern parking area with crazy views. The gift shop is huge and has some cool stuff as well as more exhibits about the history of the museum. The traffic on the road by the entrance is nuts. Be prepared for quick enter/exit to this museum.
