Absolutely dripping with corruption- without a doubt.

Do you like to be treated as guilty until proven innocent? Do you like seeing upwards of 2 police every time you drive down the 347? Do you like being pulled over for (almost) no reason due to the police's boredom from a surplus of officers? Then you'll love the MPD!

Really, though. The police are supposed to make you feel safe; they've done the complete opposite as far as I'm concerned. Police are supposed to exist for the greater good of the town, but these police seem to only be interested in punishment and image.

Absolutely no one who cares. If you love to be in a town with corrupt police, Maricopa is the perfect place for you. The police here are so surplus, and so bored you get in trouble for the slightest things, most of the time not even illegal these people have arrested others for using their freedoms. There is absolutely no doubt there is something going on in this town. Most of the time it seems as if the police are in control, because they get away with ANYTHING. The police here aren't lazy they are bored. They will send 8 police cars for one pull over. Why did they pull the car over you may ask? For going one mile per hour over the limit. You see if these are the kinds of things that happen DAILY. I wouldn't be surprised if I got arrested or even SHOT for writing this review. I hope everyone sees this. There is something going on in this town. It isn't safe be on your guard.

Such a professional,  friendly,  helpful police department. They very much care about our  community,  and it shows! Maricopa is in the Top 5 Safest cities in Arizona, and we won Best of the Burbs 3 years in a row. I believe while heartedly that MPD is a huge factor in this! They've always been there for my family.

Called the non emergency line and was hung up on by Linda because she felt my concern wasn't an emergency...duh Linda, I dialed the NON emergency line. 
Rude and disrespectful, with a complete lack of empathy.
I wish there was a negative star.

The best police department you can ever come across (unless, of course, you are a criminal....in that case....pray). The officers are courteous, respectful, and helpful. They absolutely go above and beyond their duties.
