Story

Marigold Maison is Phoenix's newest Indian bistro, located in the former Bombay Spice location on Cactus and Tatum! We serve authentic Indian fare--anything from naan, hot from the tandoor oven, to crispy dosa! We also offer excellent and affordable wines, and cocktails with an Indian flair!

Nice place. Not very busy for lunch, our server was surprised that I had made reservations. We had the Thali options (several dishes in small containers in a platter) and they were really good. I think it was 2 main dishes, a soup, a salad, rice, and rice pudding. Plus bread (naan). Be informed their iced tea had some sort of spice flavoring. I did not love the tea. Everything else really good.  Jeffrey took good care of us.

The food was good and the service is great. I ordered the lamb thali good portion and the taste was ok. Definitely not authentic Indian food. The food is taste is modified for the American audience. But have to give thumbs up for the garlic naan. It was really good. 
Marigold please improve on the dal....it is not the dal at all. It's very plain no salt and we need little heat to give that nice kick to the taste. This needs a lot of improvement. I can help if you want. 
The ambience is very good too. Very nice restaurant.

This place has a great reputation and the food is ok.  However the last time I went here they seated is out of sight of the dining room.  Granted I'm a foodie and enjoyed watching the kitchen, however I felt they were inexcusably rude.  I've not returned

Amazing Food they have an excellent bar menu from $2-6 you can try a lot for such a unbelievable Price. My favorite Indian restaurant.

Wow!  I may be biased because they are our new neighbors in central Phoenix, but I could not ask for a better welcoming to a solid Indian cuisine experience.  Abraham was a spectacular additive to our experience with his knowledge, friendliness, and understanding when it came to allergy issues.  The smiles of the crew and staff are real.  They are there because they wish to be.  Thank you our friends/neighbors for we will be returning sooner than later.
