I stayed this past weekend with my 14 year old cousin. I was very upset after talking with a house keeper and front desk clerk about how bad the weed smell was. It was horrible. You could smell it strong coming from the room next door. I would have left and went someplace else but I had won this trip through work and paid with a gift card. I was told from the desk clerk they had several complaints yet nothing was done. This was my cousins 1st trip to a beach not to mention a trip to place my mom's remains with her other loved ones. Never again will I stay here and I highly recommend if you have kids you don't stay here.

Honestly much nicer than expected. Separate living room, full kitchen appliances, and a great view of the beach. Tv in the bedroom acted up a little bit otherwise great stay.

I had to live in a hotel for almost a month when I moved to the area for work.  I would definately recommend the Marjac for location, price and cleanliness.

 My first 2 weeks were at a cheap hotel that was dated and dingy.  The Marjac was my second home and I hated to leave.  The bed was 300% more comfortable than the other hotel, the kitchenette and bathroom were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.  

I'm giving 4 oit of 5 stars because the tub was so slippery I fell and deeply bruised my leg from the knee to the ankle.  The second reason is the noise.  I was awaken daily by the trash truck around 5am and other guests were arguing very loud almost ever night my last 4 days.
