Breakfast was just ok. Wish they had more food options. Suite was great. Private balcony, comfy beds and very clean and spacious. Very nice hotel. Indoor pool was big and clean. Nice gym. Elevators slow. Staff very friendly. Crystal at front desk was great!!

Brittany at front desk is absolutely amazing! She was so kind and helpful with all of our needs that we had during our stay. She was informative and helpful figuring out everything needed to make our stay the best! Would come back again just because of her great hospitality! Thank you Brittany!!

Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was good better on Friday. Great location and the view was perfect. Hotel need some upgrades but overall nice hotel. Beds were very comfortable . Enjoyed my stay would recommend to family and friends.

Nice hotel. Feels clean in the lobby. Good food at breakfast. The upper floors hallways are a bit scary. Maybe some new lights and something to make them feel friendly and inviting. Chairs, tables, lamps...rooms need a bit of updating but they are still clean.

Shabby room with intentionally disabled safety issues. On April 13, 2018 we checked in to the Comfort Inn & Suites in VA Beach. While I was unpacking, my boyfriend noticed that the balcony door locks(2) were broken. The locking mechanisms were completely missing. We refused the room, so they put us in another room with the locks again broken. The manager said that the locks were disabled on purpose so children wouldn't be trapped outside on the balcony. That, as you know, isn't what those locks are for. They are to keep people from breaking in and, more importantly, to keep children safely inside. This really altered the way we were able enjoy our stay since all valuables had to be taken with us since the rooms safe didn't work either. I went to the car to retrieve more luggage, only to be lock outside in the parking garage because the room key wouldn't open the door. The repairman kicked it and said that was what was required to open it. The fix for this door was to block it open with a screw all night. By the way two people were shot later that night right down the street. They told us we could leave and work out a refund with Travelocity but I suspect, based on how they are able to stonewall us now, she wasn't being totally honest about the refund process actually works. The hotel, not Travelocity, determines if they want to give you a refund. They offered us Points but we weren't reward members, so they would have been useless to us. We paid $441.75 and they offered us $38.00 because we utilized the room. The full truth is, we had driven 3 1/2 hours and no one else had a room and now we are certain they wouldn't have given us a refund even if we had left. They have the rudest staff I have ever seen and they know we won't ever stay there again so they aren't going to give us a refund. We did them a favor pointing these issues out. If a child falls over a balcony or a woman is assaulted because of this intentional disabling of their hotels security issues, they are toast.
