The place is clean and very decent and also convenient. Don't be too nit picky about this hotel, it's at the besch, so be thankful. It is just older. Things improve with age and things improve with people who make an exceptional experience. See Chrissy at the front desk, she has 14 years of experience in VA beach and can make any assumptions or concerns a laugh and her welcoming sense is what makes this hotel more like home. I would come back again. You just have to be down to Earth and adaptable to deal with the environment, it takes more than one to tango. Also, check in with Ms. Coley. These two people honestly made the vacation the best part of the experience because feeling at home while you are away is the greatest gift that friendly strangers can give you and now they are more so friends. Once again thank you Chrissy and thank you Ms. Coley!

I thought i was going to stay in a nice hotel since the pictures looked nice. Came in the double beds had like a small hole on each bed sheet as if someone been smoking and burnt it. The bathroom is small and had ants took them over an hour to come spray. I’m not satisfied but it is what it is but i should be satisfied for what i paid for. Will not be staying here again in the future. My eyes will be open to make sure no bugs or ants are in my bed.

They have redone some rooms which look nice but could still do some work on the bathrooms. Our ceiling was peeling and the shower curtain was ripped up. Balconies with new sliding glass doors are awesome. Kitchenette cabinets need some love along with the other wooden furnishings. Our safe didn't work either. The breakfast was ok and the front desk people were great. All in all a good place to stay.

For the price I don’t think you can go too wrong with Travelodge. We’ve stayed at both holiday Inns on the strip and the quality isn’t all that different. We slept very well, and the staff was friendly. The building itself looks a little old and not fancy by any means, but unless you’re planning on being in the room the entire day... this is the place to stay! Did I mention the view??? AMAZING!!!

Pros - Booked on line and check in went smooth. Very nice staff. Excellent views and The beds were so comfortable! Nice to have 2 TV's and more channels were available then in most hotels in the area. Spacious layout and nice furnishings. Cons - Bathroom was small, dusty rooms
