I went to shop in martins for the first time and I was looking for these shoes I've been wanting for months. I walk in and saw the shoes and instantly walked over there. I was in the store for maybe five minutes and I felt the security guard kept looking at my friend and I. I heard them page someone to shoes and the girl just stood there staring at us. She asked was everything ok and I told her that I didn't need any help and that I was just browsing. She said ok, and continued to stand there and look at us. I work in retail so I know how it goes. I didn't feel comfortable with everyone watching us and l chose to leave. I felt that I was racially profiled as I am an African American women. I was almost at the door when the security guard stop me and said to me "I thought you needed help in shoes" I was quite confused because i didn't do anything wrong. I would never go back to martins.

The prices are a tad bit high but great quality and a variety of styles and sizes. Great stuff too.
